The men's basketball team had the hot hand in the second half against Avila on Saturday, scoring 44 points to pull away from the Eagles for a 76-51 victory.

Volleyball Drops MCC Championship, 3-2
The No. 18 Taylor volleyball team dropped a five-set heartbreaker in the championship match of the Mid-Central College Conference Tournament to Indiana Wesleyan Saturday, losing by the final scores of 21-25, 25-15, 25-13, 16-25, 15-11.

4th Quarter Comeback Stops Trojans
Walsh scored two unanswered touchdowns in the fourth quarter to snatch a 24-17 win from the Trojans. The Trojans drove to the Walsh 27-yard line in the final minute of play, but were unable to get into the end zone to tie the game.

Emily Kay Stahulak, a senior at St. Charles East High School, has announced her intention to attend Taylor University and compete with the women's soccer team.

The final NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Poll was released Sunday afternoon and revealed Taylor as the 25th-ranked team with 158 votes to close the season.

The No. 18 Taylor University volleyball team will host the Mid-Central College Conference Volleyball Tournament championship match on Saturday at 3:00 in Odle Arena with a trip to the NAIA National Tournament on the line.
